Most renewable power systems serve a diverse set of customer loads, over which the system has no control. In contrast, a dedicated power system serves one or several specific loads that the system has control over. Examples of such loads might include water pumping, water desalination, ice making, and heating. These loads are a perfect match for renewable energy, because the load can be managed to approximately follow the variable output of the renewable generators.
Our 100% renewable wind-powered water pumping system was developed in partnership with Gen-X Energy Development and commissioned in April 2013.
